Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya motivasi ekstrinsik belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi media pop-up book dalam meningkatkan motivasi ekstrinsik belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan sumber data primer 34 siswa kelas XI TKR SMK Negeri 3 Rantau Utara. Tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan tehnik observasi, angket pre-test dan post-test, serta dokumentasi. Analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan penelitian mengenai analisis implementasi media pop-up book terhadap motivasi ekstrinsik belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn kelas XI, khususnya pada materi merawat tradisi lokal dan kebinekaan di SMK Negeri 3 Rantau Utara, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media pop-up book terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi ekstrinsik belajar siswa. Peningkatan motivasi tersebut ditunjukkan melalui beberapa indikator, yaitu: (1) adanya pemberian penghargaan dalam proses pembelajaran, (2) terselenggaranya kegiatan pembelajaran yang menarik dan tidak monoton, serta (3) terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Ketiga aspek tersebut tidak hanya mendukung tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran, tetapi juga mampu meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Kata kunci : Media Pop-up Book, Motivasi Ekstrinsik, Pembelajaran PPKn ================================================================================================== This research is motivated by the low extrinsic motivation of students to learn in PPKn subjects. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with primary data sources of 34 students in grade XI TKR SMK Negeri 3 Rantau Utara. The data collection technique uses observation techniques, pretest and postest questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. Based on the results of the research discussion regarding the analysis of the implementation of pop-up book media on students' extrinsic learning motivation in the subject of PPKn class XI, especially on the material of maintaining local traditions and diversity at SMK Negeri 3 Rantau Utara, it can be concluded that the implementation of pop-up book media has proven effective in increasing students' extrinsic learning motivation. The increase in motivation is shown through several indicators, namely: (1) the provision of awards in the learning process, (2) the implementation of interesting and non-monotonous learning activities, and (3) the creation of a conducive learning environment. These three aspects not only support the achievement of learning objectives, but are also able to increase students' active participation during the learning process.
