Abstract

The research aims to determine: (l) the relationship between principal supervision and teacher performance; (2) the relationship between school culture and teacher performance; (3) the relationship between work motivation and teacher performance; and (4) the relationship between principal supervision, school culture, and work motivation collectively with teacher performance. The research subjects are public junior high school teachers in Rantau Utara District, with a sample size Of 124 people. The research method is correlational quantitative research with three independent variables and one dependent variable. Based on hypothesis testing, it can be concluded: (l) there is a significant relationship between principal supervision and teacher performance of 0.409; (2) there is a significant relationship between school culture and teacher performance of 0.362; (3) there is a significant relationship between work motivation and teacher performance of 0.549; and (4) there is a significant relationship between principal supervision, school culture, and work motivation together with teacher performance of 0.670. Overall, the results of the study indicate that improving teacher performance can be achieved through increasing the variables Of principal supervision, school culture, and work motivation. Keywords: School Principal Supervision, School Culture, Work Motivation, Teacher Performance ================================================================================================ Penelitian untuk mengetahui: (l) hubungan supervisi kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Rantau Utara Kabupaten Labuhanbatu; (2) hubungan budaya sekolah dengan kinerja guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Rantau Utara Kabupaten Labuhanbatu; (3) hubungan motivasi kerja dengan kinerja guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Rantau Utara Kabupaten Labuhanbatu; dan (4) hubungan supervisi kepala sekolah, budaya sekolah, dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama dengan kinerja guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Rantau Utara Kabupaten Labuhanbatu. Subjek penelitian adalah guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Rantau Utara dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 124 orang. Metcx.le penelitian jenis penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan tiga variabel bebas dan satu variabel terikat. Berdasarkan pengujian dapat disimpulkan: (l) terdapat hubungan yang berarti antara supervisi kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru Sebesar 0,409; (2) terdapat hubungan yang berarti antara budaya sekolah dengan kinerja guru sebesar 0,362; (3) terdapat hubungan yang berarti antara motivasi kerja dengan kinerja guru sebesar 0,549; dan (4) terdapat hubungan yang berarti antara supervisi kepala sekolah, budaya sekolah, dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama dengan kinerja guru s&sar 0,670. Secara keseluruhan hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kinerja guru dapat dilakukan melalui peningkatan pada variabel supervisi kepala sekolah, budaya sekolah, dan motivasi kerja.
