Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter Pancasil dilingkungan SMA Negeri 1 NA IX X. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah SMA Negeri 1 NA IX X menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan partisipatif yang menonjolkan keteladanan, keterbukaan, dan komunikasi humanis. Kepala sekolah berperan aktif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai Pancasila melalui berbagai kegiatan sekolah. Strategi yang digunakan meliputi perencanaan berbasis kebutuhan karakter siswa, integrasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kurikulum dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, serta pengawasan dan evaluasi berkala terhadap pelaksanaan program karakter. Selain itu, kepala sekolah juga menjalin kerja sama dengan guru, orang tua, dan komite sekolah untuk memperkuat pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter secara berkelanjutan. Faktor pendukung implementasi pendidikan karakter di sekolah ini antara lain komitmen kuat kepala sekolah dan guru, budaya sekolah yang kondusif, serta dukungan dari orang tua dan masyarakat. Adapun faktor penghambat meliputi pengaruh negatif media sosial, keterbatasan waktu guru dalam mengintegrasikan nilai karakter ke dalam pembelajaran, serta perbedaan tingkat kesadaran siswa terhadap nilai-nilai Pancasila. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berperan sangat penting dalam membangun budaya sekolah yang berkarakter Pancasila melalui keteladanan, kolaborasi, dan inovasi dalam manajemen pendidikan. Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah, Pendidikan Karakter, Nilai-Nilai Pancasila =================================================================================================== This study aims to describe the leadership of the principal in implementing Pancasila character education within the environment of SMA Negeri 1 NA IX X. The study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The results show that the principal of SMA Negeri 1 NA IX X applies transformational and participative leadership styles that emphasize exemplary behavior, openness, and humanistic communication. The principal plays an active role in instilling Pancasila values through various school activities. The strategies used include character-based planning according to students’ needs, integration of Pancasila values into the curriculum and extracurricular activities, as well as regular supervision and evaluation of character education programs. In addition, the principal establishes cooperation with teachers, parents, and the school committee to strengthen the sustainable implementation of character education. Supporting factors in implementing character education at this school include the strong commitment of the principal and teachers, a conducive school culture, and support from parents and the community. Inhibiting factors include the negative influence of social media, limited time for teachers to integrate character values into learning, and differences in students’ levels of awareness of Pancasila values. Overall, the findings confirm that the principal’s leadership plays a crucial role in building a school culture grounded in Pancasila character through exemplary conduct, collaboration, and innovation in educational management.
