Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of external motivation, career development, work environment, occupational health and safety on employee performance at PT. PLN (Persero) Rantauprapat. The sample used in this research is Saturated Sampling which is all members of the population as respondents, where all employees are 30 people. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis, classical assumption test, t test, f test and the coefficient of determination and processed with the SPSS 20.0 for windows program. The research results obtained Y = -5.368 + 0.275X1 + 0.413X2 + 0.960X3 – 0.246X4 + e. The results of the t test show that external motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. PLN (Persero) Rantauprapat, with a t count (2.114) > t table (2.060) and a probability of 0.045 t table (2.060) and a probability of 0.032 t table (2.060) and a probability of 0.000 < t table (2.060) and a probability of 0.244 > 0.05. The results of the F test show that External Motivation, Career Development, Work Environment, Occupational Health and Safety simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at PT. PLN (Persero) Rantauprapat, with a calculated f value (19.372) > f table (2.74) and a probability of 0.000 < 0.05. External Motivation, Career Development, Work Environment, Occupational Health and Safety can influence Employee Performance by 75.6%. While the remaining 24.4% Employee Performance from PT. PLN (Persero) Rantauprapat is influenced by other factors that are not discussed in this study. Keywords: External Motivation, Career Development, Work Environment, Occupational Health and Safety.
