Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru PPKn dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa melalui penerapan tata tertib sekolah di SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi ,wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini adalah dengan cara, pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil peelitian menunjukan bahwa ada peran guru PPKn dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa melaui penerapan tata tertib di SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan. Yaitu menasehati dan meningkatkan peserta didik tentang penting nya disiplin, guru di SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan sangat diajarkan, guru di SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan sangat menanam karakter disiplin pada peserta didik. Guru sebagai pendidik berperan penting dalam menjelaskan pentingnya disiplin, sekolah membuat aturan dan memberikan penghargaan mau pun sanksi bagi yang melangar aturan. Kesimpulannya adalah bahwa guru mempunyai strategi yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran ppkn untuk menanamkan karakter disiplin siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan, dengan membuat aturan, memotivasi siswa, dan membiasakan. Dan guru juga mempunya upaya dalam membentuk karakter disiplin siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan ada banyak upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam membentuk karakter disiplin siswa. Seperti, mengajarkan tentang disiplin, membimbing dengan menuntun dan mengarahkan perilaku agar mematuhi dan sadar akan aturan atau tata tertib di sekolah. Kata Kunci : Peran Guru, PPKN, Disiplin, Karakter, Tertib ===================================================================================================== This research aims to determine the role of PPKn teachers in shaping students' disciplined character through the implementation of school regulations at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan. The research method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique for this research is through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that there is a role of PPKn teachers in the formation of students' disciplined character through the implementation of regulations at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan. That is, advising and enhancing students about the importance of discipline, teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan are very much taught, teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan very much instill the character of discipline in students. Teachers, as educators, play an important role in explaining the importance of discipline. The school establishes rules and provides rewards as well as sanctions for those who violate the rules. In conclusion, the teacher has strategies used in the PPKn learning process to instill the character of discipline in students at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan, by creating rules, motivating students, and habituating them. And the teachers also have efforts in shaping the disciplined character of students at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan; there are many efforts made by the teachers in shaping the disciplined character of the students. For example, teaching about discipline, guiding by directing and steering behavior to comply with and be aware of the rules or regulations at school.
