Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan belajar siswa pada materi ekosistem di kelas X SMA Swasta Purenayudha Sei Rakyat. Penelitian ini mengguakan metode Deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melui wawancara, observasi, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat kesulitan belajar siswa pada materi ekosistem di kelas X SMA Swasta Purnayudha Sei Rakyat secara umum berada pada kategori sedang. Data menunjukkan 5 siswa laki-laki dan 5 siswa perempuan mengalami kesulitan belajar pada tingkat sedang. Terdapat 3 siswa laki-laki yang mengalami kesulitan belajar tinggi, sementara hanya 1 siswa perempuan berada pada tingkat tersebut. Pada kategori kesulitan rendah, tercatat 3 siswa perempuan dan hanya 1 siswa laki-laki. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa siswa perempuan cenderung memiliki tingkat kesulitan belajar yang lebih ringan dibandingkan siswa laki-laki. Indikator kemampuan kognitif menjadi faktor yang paling dominan sebagai sumber kesulitan belajar, terlihat dari nilai rata-rata yang paling rendah dibandingkan lima indikator lainnya. Kesulitan ini berkaitan dengan pemahaman konsep abstrak seperti rantai makanan dan aliran energi yang membutuhkan kemampuan berpikir analitis dan konseptual tinggi. Lingkungan belajar tercatat sebagai indikator paling mendukung dengan nilai rata-rata tertinggi. Kata Kunci : Kesulitan belajar, Ekosistem, Analisis kesulitn belajar, Pembelajaran Ekosistem ========================================================================= This study aims to analyze students' learning difficulties in ecosystem material in class X of Purnayudha Sei Rakyat Private High School. This study uses a descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and tests. The results of the study showed that the level of difficulty in learning ecosystem material for students in class X of Purnatudha Sei Rakyat Private High School in general is in the moderate category. The data shows that 5 male students and 5 female students experience moderate learning difficulties. There are 3 male students who experience severe learning difficulties,is in the moderate category. The data shows that 5 male students and 5 female students experience moderate learning difficulties. There are 3 male students who experience severe learning difficulties, Meanwhile, only 1 female student was at that level. In the low difficulty category, 3 female students and only 1 male student were recorded. This finding identified that female students tend to have a lower level of learning difficulties compared to male students. Cognitive ability indicators are the most dominant factor as a source of learning difficulties, as seen from the lowest average value compared to the other five indicators. This difficulty is related to understanding abstract concepts such as food chains and energy flows which require high analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
