Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis Quizizz dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam mengidentifikasi tumbuhan rendah pada siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 3 Marbau. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen melalui desain pretest-posttest control group. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX, dengan dua kelas sebagai sampel, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis Quizizz dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode ceramah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes sebelum (pretest) dan sesudah (posttest) pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan pada kelas eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil uji t, diperoleh nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel, yang berarti penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis Quizizz berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Quizizz efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi tumbuhan rendah dan dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran di kelas. Kata Kunci: Media Pe,belajaran, Quizizz, Hasil Belajar, Tumbuhan Rendah, Siswa SMP ================================================================================================= This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Quizizz-based learning media in improving students' learning outcomes in identifying lower plants among ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Marbau. This research employed a quantitative approach with an experimental method using a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study consisted of all ninth-grade students, with two classes selected as samples: the experimental class, which used Quizizz-based learning media, and the control class, which used conventional lecture methods. Data were collected through tests administered before (pretest) and after (posttest) the learning process. The results showed that there was a significant improvement in the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class compared to the control class. The t-test analysis indicated that the calculated t value was higher than the critical t-value, meaning that the use of Quizizz-based learning media had a significant effect on improving students' learning outcomes. Thus, it can be concluded that Quizizz-based learning media is effective in enhancing students' ability to identify lower plants and can be used as an alternative learning medium in the classroom.
