Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) Pengaruh kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah dengan kinerja kepala sekolah; (2) Pengaruh komitmen afektif kepala sekolah dengan kinerja kepala sekolah; dan (3) Pengaruh kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah dan komitmen afektif kepala sekolah secara bersama-sama dengan kinerja kepala sekolah. Subjek penelitian adalah Kepala SMA/SMK se-Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan dengan jumlah 44 orang. Metode penelitian jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan dua variabel bebas dan satu variabel terikat. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis dapat disimpulkan: (1) terdapat pengaruh yang berarti antara kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah dengan kinerja kepala sekolah sebesar 0,644; (2) terdapat pengaruh yang berarti antara komitmen afektif kepala sekolah dengan kinerja kepala sekolah sebesar 0,684; dan (3) terdapat pengaruh yang berarti antara kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah dan komitmen afektif secara bersama-sama dengan kinerja kepala sekolah sebesar 0,750. Secara keseluruhan hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kinerja kepala sekolah dapat dilakukan melalui peningkatan pada variabel kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah dan komitmen afektif kepala sekolah. Kata kunci: Kepemimpinan visioner, Komitmen afektif, Kinerja kepala sekolah =============================================== The study aims to analyse: (1) The relationship between the principal's visionary leadership and the principal's performance; (2) The relationship between the principal's affective commitment and the principal's performance; and (3) The relationship between the principal's visionary leadership and the principal's affective commitment together with the principal's performance. The research subjects are high school/vocational school principals in South Labuhanbatu Regency, totaling 44 individuals. The research method is a quantitative study with two independent variables and one dependent variable. Based on the hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that: (1) there is a significant relationship between the principal's visionary leadership and the principal's performance of 0.644; (2) there is a significant relationship between the principal's affective commitment and the principal's performance of 0.684; and (3) there is a significant relationship between the principal's visionary leadership and commitment together with the principal's performance of 0.750. Overall, the research results indicate that improving the principal's performance can be achieved through enhancements in the variables of the principal's visionary leadership and the principal's affective commitment.
