Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran media berbasis Information and Communication Technology (ICT) terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII pada materi Sistem Peredaran Darah Makhluk Hidup di MTs Swasta Al-Washliyah Simpang Marbau. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen semu (quasi experimental design). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII yang terdiri dari 120 siswa, sedangkan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 60 siswa, yang diambil menggunakan teknik random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berbentuk angket motivasi belajar yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran angket sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan (pretest dan posttest). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, homogenitas, uji anova, uji tukey menggunakan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pembelajaran berbasis ICT terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa, yang ditunjukkan dengan perbedaan nilai rata-rata motivasi belajar sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan serta nilai signifikansi yang lebih kecil dari 0,05. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media berbasis ICT dapat menjadi salah satu strategi efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, khususnya pada materi yang membutuhkan pemahaman visual dan interaktif. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi referensi bagi guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan menarik, serta meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di era digital saat ini. Kata Kunci : Media Pembelajaran, ICT, Motivasi Belajar, Pembelajaran IPA =================================================================================================== This study aims to determine the effect of Information and Communication Technology (ICT)-based learning media on the learning motivation of class VIII students on the material of the Circulatory System of Living Things at MTs Swasta Al-Washliyah Simpang Marbau. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design approach. The population in this study were all class VIII students consisting of 120 students, while the sample used was 60 students, taken using random sampling techniques. The research instrument was in the form of learning motivation numbers that had been validated by experts. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires before and after treatment (pretest and posttest). Data analysis techniques used were normality test, homogeneity test, anova test, tukey test using SPSS software version 25. The results showed that there was a significant effect of ICT-based learning on increasing student learning motivation, which was caused by differences in the average value of learning motivation before and after treatment and a significance value smaller than 0.05. The implications of this study indicate that the use of ICT-based media can be an effective strategy in increasing student learning motivation, especially on materials that require visual and interactive understanding. It is hoped that the results of this study can be a reference for teachers in developing innovative and interesting learning, as well as improving the quality of education in the current digital era.
