Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan penerapan pendidikan nilai karakter peduli sosial dalam penguatan budaya 5S (senyum, sapa, salam, sopan, santun) pada pembelajaran kolaborasi budaya siswa kelas XI TKRO 1 dan siswa kelas XI TKRO 2 SMK Swasta Pemda Rantauprapat. Jenis penelitian nya berupa Penelitian Kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, penelitian penerapan nilai karakter peduli sosial melalui budaya 5S (senyum, sapa, salam, sopan, santun) dalam pembelajaran kolaborasi budaya. Sumber data primer terdiri dari wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum sebagai Narasumber 1, guru PPKn sebagai narasumber 2, 5 Siswa kelas XI TKRO 1 dan 5 siswa kelas XI TKRO 2 SMK Swasta Pemda Rantauprapat sebagai responden penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Intrumen penelitian berupa pedoman wawancara dan lembar observasi. Analisis data adalah analisis data kualitatif sesuai dengan konsep Miles dan Hubermen yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan budaya 5S (senyum, sapa, salam, sopan, santun) dilaksanakan melalui keteladan guru, pembiasaan rutin di lingkungan sekolah, serta sama dalam kegiatan diskusi dan kerja kelompok pada materi kolaborasi budaya. Terjadinya perubahan perilaku siswa yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya kebiasaan menyapa dan memberi salam, menggunakan Bahasa yang lebih sopan, tumbuhnya empati terhadap teman, serta meningkatkan Kerja sama. Meskipun belum seluruh siswa konsisten, budaya 5S (senyum, sapa, salam, sopan, santun) terbukti memperkuat karakter peduli sosial dan menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih harmonis. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Karakter, Peduli Sosial, Budaya 5S (Senyum, Sapa, Salam, Sopan, Santun), Kolaborasi Budaya, Studi Kasus Kualitatif =========================================================================================== This study aims to determine and describe the implementation of socially caring character value education in strengthening the 5S culture (Smile, Greet, Say Hello, Be Polite, and Courteous) in cultural collaboration learning for grade XI TKRO 1 and grade XI TKRO 2 students at Rantauprapat Regional Government Private Vocational High School. This study is a qualitative study using a case study approach. This study examines the application of socially caring character values through the 5S culture (Smile, Greet, Say Hello, Be Polite, and Courteous) in cultural collaboration learning. The primary data sources consisted of the vice principal for curriculum as resource person 1, the PPKn teacher as resource person 2, and five eleventh-grade students from TKRO 1 and five eleventh-grade students from SMK Swasta Pemda Rantauprapat as research respondents. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. The research instruments were interview guidelines and observation sheets. Data analysis was qualitative in accordance with the concepts of Miles and Huberman: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of the 5S culture (smile, greet, say hello, be polite, and courteous) was carried out through teacher role models, routine habits in the school environment, and in discussions and group work on cultural collaboration materials. Changes in student behavior occurred, marked by increased habits of greeting and giving greetings, the use of more polite language, growing empathy towards peers, and increased cooperation. Although not all students were consistent, the 5S culture (smile, greet, say hello, be polite, be polite) was proven to strengthen socially conscious character and create a more harmonious learning atmosphere.
