Abstract

Penelitian ini bermula dari banyak guru yang kurang memahami gaya belajar atau cara belajar yang dimiliki oleh anak-anak sehingga pelajaran yang disampaikan guru banyak yang tidak dipahami ketika proses belajar. Jadi, penting bagi guru untuk menguasai ketiga gaya belajar yaitu visual, auditorial dan kinestetik agar memudahkan siswa dalam memahami apa yang disampaikan oleh guru dalam proses belajar mengajar serta seorang guru juga dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajarannya. Informan kunci penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 9.1 sampai kelas 9.4 yang berjumlah keseluruhannya adalah 125 dan informan pendukung adalah guru mata pelajaran IPA. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan oleh peneliti tentang analisis gaya belajar VAK, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan, Hasil penelitian keseluruhan gaya belajar pada siswa kelas IX di SMP N 3 Rantau Utara, diperoleh gaya belajar siswa dengan tipe Kinestetik memiliki persentase tertinggi sebesar 82% (sangat tinggi); siswa dengan tipe Auditori memiliki persentase sebesar 68% (tinggi); dan siswa dengan tipe Visual memiliki persentase terendah sebesar 60% (sedang). Kata Kunci: Gaya Belajar Visual, Gaya Belajar Auditori, Gaya Belajar Kinestetik, Materi Pertumbuhan Dan Perkembangan Pada Manusia ========================================================================== This research started from many teachers who do not understand the learning styles or learning methods possessed by children so that many of the lessons delivered by teachers are not understood during the learning process. So, it is important for teachers to master the three learning styles namely visual, auditory and kinesthetic to make it easier for students to understand what is conveyed by the teacher in the teaching and learning process and a teacher can also improve the quality of his learning. The key informants of this research are students in grades 9.1 to 9.4, totaling 125 and supporting informants are science teachers. Based on the results of research that has been carried out by researchers on the analysis of VAK learning styles, it can be concluded, The results of the overall research on learning styles in grade IX students at SMP N 3 Rantau Utara, obtained learning styles of students with the Kinesthetic type have the highest percentage of 82% (very high); students with the Auditory type have a percentage of 68% (high); and students with the Visual type have the lowest percentage of 60% (moderate).
